  • Your family day starts with a playful and challenging activity: a minigolf session in a fun setting with mini imitations of the Angkor temples.
  • When your game is over, you’ll travel to the surrounding countryside of Siem Reap (approx. 30mn by car).
  • From there, you’ll walk through the rice fields to reach a small temple which is hidden in the forest. Away from the tourist paths, you’ll feel you’ve become explorers looking for a secret temple.
  • Distance by foot : 1.5 km (approx. 1h walk). Next is a short transfer to the nearby lake: Trav Kod, a place where Khmer families like to spend time at the weekend.
  • Lunch will be in a local restaurant.
  • In the afternoon you can swim (from July to January), have a rest in the hammocks or play on the swings and slides with your children. It is also possible to get hold of some petanque balls or even a football.
  • At the end of the day, you’ll head back to Siem Reap to enjoy a tour in a captive air-balloon. This 10-minute-flight enables you to admire the beauty and magnificence of the Angkor site, 100m above the ground.
  • When the sun goes down, you will travel along Road 60 which at that time starts to come alive, the local merchants set up their small shops and offer their specialities: fruits, skewers, noodles, soup and even grilled insects! It’s a great opportunity to taste some uncommon and surprising flavours!
  • It is also a place which is very much appreciated by Khmer families as a small funfair is set up there. Trampoline, carousel, dart games… There is a true olden times feel to the funfair with the atmosphere a little outdated but none-the-less charming. For the little ones, whether they’re foreign or Khmer, this is a time to meet each other and share the universal language of play.

Important notes

  1. Please give the games (boules, raquettes, ball) to the guide one day before (kindly ask Phikol for the Khmer Family day kit)
  2. The angkor wat putt mini golf has to be paid on spot
  3. Lunch at local restaurant will be manage by the tour guide on sport
  4. For the temple visit, we move to Prasat Toteng Knai – this temple no Apsara author stand by so we don’t have to worry if clients have no temple pass. When we reach to this village, car/bus will stop near by the Ancient and clients will walk from that point to temple & discover the village – approximately 1.5km or 1hrs for walking distance.
  5. Always remind about Angkor balloon ride –it can be take tern depend on group side base on weather condition (12pax max per service if the weather good).

Vous passerez cette journée comme une famille Cambodgienne typique. Elle commencera par une session de mini golf dans un cadre amusant, avec des temples d’Angkor miniatures. Après la partie, vous vous rendrez dans la campagne environnant Siem Reap et marcherez à travers les rizières pour atteindre un petit temple caché dans la forêt. Loin du chemin des touristes, vous vous sentirez comme de vrais explorateurs à la recherche d’un temple secret. Ensuite vous irez au lac qui se trouve à proximité : Trav Kod, un endroit où les familles khmères aiment passer du temps pendant le week-end. Dans l’après-midi, vous pourrez aller vous baigner (de juillet à janvier), vous reposer dans des hamacs ou jouer sur les balançoires et toboggans avec vos enfants. Il sera aussi possible de jouer à la pétanque ou même au football. A la fin de la journée, vous rentrerez à Siem Reap pour profiter d’un tour en de 10 minutes de vol en ballon captif. Ce vol de 10 minutes vous permettra d’admirer la beauté et la splendeur du site d‘Angkor, 100 mètres au dessus du sol. Vous suivrez ensuite la Route 60, qui commence à s’animer à cette heure-ci, avec les marchands qui installent leurs petites boutiques et proposent leurs spécialités de fruits, brochettes, nouilles, soupes et autres insectes grillés. Ce sera une fantastique opportunité de goûter des saveurs inhabituelles et surprenantes. Hoy disfrutará del día como una familia camboyana. Comenzará con una actividad divertida y desafiante: una sesión de mini golf en un entorno divertido con pequeñas imitaciones de templos de Angkor.  Cuando el juego termine, viajará por la región rural de Siem Real y caminará a través de los arrozales para llegar a un pequeño templo que está escondido en el bosque. Lejos de los caminos recorridos por los turistas, sentirá que se han convertido en exploradores buscando un templo secreto. A continuación, sigue un corto viaje hasta un lago cercano: Trav Kod, un lugar donde las familias Khmer les gusta pasar el rato durante el fin de semana.

Wenn das Spiel vorbei ist, begeben Sie sich in die Siem Reap umgebende Landschaft. Sie werden durch Reisfelder spazieren, um einen kleinen Tempel, der im Wald versteckt liegt, zu besuchen.
