Begin your food tour by cyclo, passing over Phu Xuan Bridge. Your first stop is at an authentic local restaurant in a small street where you can taste some local-style rice cakes such as banh beo, banh bam or banh ram it. Then, continue around the Imperial Citadel before making a second stop for a very special pancake: the banh khoai accompanied by a unique local dipping sauce. After passing over another bridge, your cyclos will slowly leave the Imperial Citadel area and head for a small street where you will stop in a famous bun bo Hue restaurant, a signature dish of the city consisting of tasty noodles with beef and a slightly spicy sauce. Next, make another stop a few hundred meters further in a famous cake shop, your last stop of your tour will be at a riverside coffee shop offering expansive views over the Perfume River.
