The villa was built by Mr. Francis Engelmann, a prestigious UNESCO expert who has been actively involved in conserving the world heritage city of Luang Prabang since 2001. The traditional architecture of the property, along with the carefully maintained gardens and the natural beauty of the nearby river, provides a unique location for an exclusive moment away from the crowds. The private catered event can either be a luxurious lunch or dinner inside the house, on the terrace, or by the pool. There is also the option for something more akin to a cocktail event with a selection of delicious aperitifs and refreshing beverages.

There are three “event” options:

• Lunch
• Dinner
• Aperitifs (standard set or luxury set)

There are three possible locations at the villa depending on the group size and weather:

• In the house – for up to 20 people. The only option for bad weather. No view.
• On the terrace – for up to 15 people. Less spacious than the pool area. Excellent idea but not as spectacular as by the pool.
• Next to the pool – for up to 20 people. This is the most excellent location.

For the aperitifs, we have the following options:

• Standard Set – Drinks/Canapes – 1 glass of cocktail or mocktail: + 6 canapés: $20 per pax
• Luxury Set – Drinks/Canapes – 1 glass of champagne: or 1-hour free flow of house wine/beer / soft drinks + 6 canapés: $35 per pax
• Catering Transfer – Drinks/Canapes Outside City – This must be added as the aperitifs are cheaper than lunch/dinner, so there is a supplement for the catering transfer.

The private event at the riverside villa is a combination of services from different suppliers. The final price will be a combination of the venue rental fee (300 USD) + catering/staff fees from L’Elephant + transfer fees if only doing the aperitifs.
