VIETNAM – Incentive – Northern & Central Vietnam 7 Days / 6 Nights

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
You will be warmly welcomed at Hanoi airport by our guides and Vietnamese girls in traditional dresses and accompanied to your hotel. Then feel free to wander to discover the busy streets of Hanoi Old Quarter, take a walk to visit Hoan Kiem lake – the heart of Hanoi – and admire Ngoc Son temple reflects its shade in calm waters.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first national university, which was built in 1070. Relax with a body massage, then enjoy an aperitif at a local bar/ lounge with stunning panoramic view over Hanoi city at sunset.

Day 2: Hanoi
Share a moment of Vietnamese life with a tai chi demonstration by a master and his team in the early morning. Don’t worry about getting up early, your tai chi class will be all the more enjoyable: you will like the soft light and pleasant temperature at the start of the day. After about 30 minutes of tai chi at dawn, you will be back at your hotel for breakfast, followed by a cooking contest with a visit of the local market.
In the afternoon, you will take part in a very interesting team building game named “Treasure Hunt in the Old Quarter” for 2-3 hours. You will have to walk through the paths and small streets of the old quarter in search of a list of well-hidden objects. All these “treasures” are all related to the characteristics and specialties of these streets; your search will thus be based on objects, recipes, legends, and will lead you to meet the bemused inhabitants and sellers. The bustling streets are the ideal place to experience this playful adventure. Pleasure is guaranteed!

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hanoi
In the morning you will drive out of town to Ninh Binh with beautiful countryside scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karsts towers. You will take part in an exciting sampan race upon your arrival at a local pier. Such a nice experience to reinforce cohesion in your group! Then, a well-deserved barbecue lunch will await you at a local inhabitant.
After some relaxing time, you will start an unforgettable bike ride through Ninh Binh’s countryside, providing a good overview of the sublime landscapes and the locals’ way of life in this part of Vietnam.
You will return to Hanoi for the evening.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong
In the morning, you will take a local train from Hanoi to Hai Duong with food and beverages and a nice shoulder and neck massage on the train. Then, experience a jeep trip from Hai Duong to Halong Bay. Upon arrival at the pier, you will embark on a junk for an itinerary of 2 days/1 night in the bay. Lunch will be served onboard while cruising in this beautiful bay – one of the 7 Wonders of Nature of the World.
Spend quality time and admire the stunning beauty of Halong Bay at sunset before joining a cooking demonstration to prepare the famous Vietnamese spring rolls (fried or fresh) and then savor your preparation.

Day 5: Halong – Danang/ Hoi An
If you feel like waking up early, a tai chi demonstration will await you on sundeck in the early morning. It will be followed by a breakfast onboard while cruising in Halong Bay. Upon arrival at the pier, you will disembark and you will be driven to Yen Duc village for lunch.

Option: private water puppetry show after lunch
The farmers of the Red River Delta invented water puppets a thousand years ago. It used to be a hobby for the peasants, and later elevated to the status of royal entertainment under the Ly and Tran dynasties. This typical and enchanted performance consists of a succession of scenes evoking daily life and legends, accompanied by traditional music. One can only but be charmed – or at least amused – by these small wooden puppets moving by themselves on the surface of the water. They are indeed activated by an invisible under-water mechanism, the existence of which you will totally forget about after a few minutes… it is truly fascinating!

You will then be taken back to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang/ Hoi An in Central Vietnam.

Day 6: Hoi An
In the morning, you will sail basket boats through the mangrove forest in Hoi An’s countryside. A relaxing time that will allow you to witness the daily life of local people. You will then stop at a local house for a refreshment, before starting a Jeep tour to join another local house for lunch.
After a tasty lunch cooked from fresh local ingredients of Hoi An, relax with a foot massage and the visit of the organic gardens around the village. Back at your hotel, you will then have some free time to get ready for the gala dinner on the beach of your hotel with live band music and entertainments.

Option: Participants can wear tailor-made Vietnamese traditional costumes for dinner.


Day 7: Hoi An – Departure flight
Enjoy free time in the morning to discover Hoi An in your own way or explore the Old Hoi An by making your own lanterns, have a nice cup of tea in an original tea shop named Reaching Out Teahouse, explore the city by Vespa, experience Hoi An traditional art performances or enjoy a body massage at your hotel/ local institutes in Hoi An.
After having lunch at your hotel and checking out, you will be taken to Danang Airport for your flight back home.
