While tea is mainly associated with China, many people don’t know that Southeast-Asia actually also has a century old history connected to tea. The host will tell all about how tea has been used for centuries in Thailand, not only for drinking but also for eating. Get the opportunity to taste some extraordinary teas and to taste some “miang”, a local fermented tea product that is slowly making its way onto the list of “superfoods”. After tea tasting will be time to try out some new flavors with a lunch based on Northern Thai food and tea-based dishes.
