THAILAND – Kata Group and Beyond Resorts Renovation Announcement

Kata Group and Beyond Resorts sent us the update with their new project, renovation, and refurbishment works as below:

Beyond Resort Kata:

• The resort closed on 25 April 2023 and is fully underway in the renovation process. The project covers rooms, restaurants, reception, lobby, and comfort and safety systems. They are on track to meet clients from 25 September 2023. The renovation scope includes all 275 rooms, restaurants, public spaces, and comfort and safety systems.

Beyond Sywalk Samed Nangshi (Phang-Nga Bay)

• Previously expected, the resort to be ready by June 2023; however, due to some difficulties in construction, they postponed the opening of Phang-Nga’s new landmark to Nov 2023. The resort will host a skywalk with unforgettable views of Phang-Nga Bay, luxury glamping tents, and mountain-top villas. The teams are working hard to ensure they do not miss the start of the winter travel season.

Beyond Resort Krabi

• From 10 June to 20 July 2023, they will start refurbishing the Deluxe Seaview rooms and improving the safety and comfort systems of the resort. During this time, there will be planned work in the main lobby building during the day between 09:00 am – 6:00 pm. They also planned to have a job done to add a children’s pool during the summer; this, however, will be postponed to a later date.
