After leaving Pakse you will head to Paksong, the Laotian capital of coffee production and the gateway to the Bolaven plateau, located at an altitude of 1,300 meters. This region, as authentic as it is beautiful, is now inhabited by different Mon-Khmer ethnic groups, but originally the French colonists planted coffee, banana and rubber trees there. Nowadays, the coffee produced on this land is globally recognized. The Bolaven area is rich in hidden treasures that are to be found off the beaten track, and you have to travel by Jeep to discover the best of them. Be welcomed by a passionate coffee farmer who will help you discover a magnificent and impressive waterfall where you can bathe and relax before he invites you to see his land. You can stride across his plantations and watch a traditional coffee roasting. Then, head off for a short trek to explore the small paths surrounded by plantations, fields and forest which eventually lead to the lunch spot, set amidst natural and restful scenery. Once you’ve had your fill of delicious local dishes, get back in the Jeep for a sensational excursion to the far reaches of the Bolaven Plateau. Here, you will visit remote bamboo villages from the Laven and Souay ethnic minorities, making you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

Today, you’ll leave Pakse heading to Paksong, the Laotian capital of coffee production and the gateway to the Bolaven plateau, located at an altitude of 1,300 meters. Après Paksé, vous vous dirigerez vers Paksong, la capitale de la production de café du Laos, qui donne sur le plateau des Bolaven et culmine à 1 300 mètres d’altitude. Aujourd’hui, le café de cette région est mondialement reconnu. La région de Bolaven est riche en trésors hors des sentiers battus, et il vous faudra les découvrir en 4X4. Après quelques soubresauts, vous arriverez au cœur du plateau de Bolaven où un producteur de café vous accueillera et vous invitera à visiter sa propriété. Vous vous baladerez dans ses plantations et assisterez à la torréfaction traditionnelle du café. Un peu plus loin, sur les sentiers entre les champs et les forêts, vous dégusterez un déjeuner local dans un cadre paisible et naturel, avant de partir avec votre guide pour une courte exploration du volcan Phu Sanark, d’où vous pourrez admirer le coucher de soleil sur le plateau.

Lasciatevi svegliare dal profumo penetrante di una deliziosa tazza di caffè, prima di recarvi alle pendici dei vulcani PhuKhatok e PhuKhate, da dove potrete ammirare viste mozzafiato sull’altopiano circostante. Dopo pranzo, saltate di nuovo a bordo della vostra jeep: un’escursione sensazionale vi aspetta nelle aree più remote dell’altopiano di Bolaven. Scoprirete alcuni remoti villaggi in bambù delle minoranze etniche dei Laven e dei Souay, dove l’atmosfera caratteristica che aleggia sulle comunità si conserva intatta e tradizionale. Avrete quasi l’impressione di aver fatto un salto indietro nel tempo, quando la vita scorreva semplice ed incorrotta dal trambusto della società moderna.

Mystischer Berg-Kaffee: Tour für 2 Tage und 1 Nacht

Tag 1:
Nachdem Sie Pakse verlassen haben, fahren Sie Richtung Paksong, der laotischen Hauptstadt der Kaffeeproduktion und das Tor zum Bolaven-Plateau, das sich in einer Höhe von 1.300 Metern befindet. Diese schöne, authentische Region wird heutzutage von verschiedenen ethnischen Gruppen der Mon-Khmer bewohnt, doch ursprünglich pflanzten die Franzosen dort Kaffee, Bananen und Gummibäume an. Der Kaffee, der heute in diesem Gebiet angebaut wird, ist auf der ganzen Welt bekannt. Das Bolaven-Plateau ist reich an versteckten Schätzen, insbesondere außerhalb der touristischen Pfade, und Sie müssen den Jeep nutzen, um die besten Schätze ausfindig zu machen.
Nach einer abenteuerreichen Fahrt ins Herz des Plateaus werden Sie von Khamsone, einem passionierten Kaffeebauern, der Sie auf sein Land einladen wird, begrüßt. Sie können über seine Plantagen laufen und eine traditionelle Kaffeerösterei sehen.
Anschließend machen Sie eine kurze Wanderung auf kleinen Pfaden, umgeben von Plantagen, Feldern und Wald, bis Sie schließlich an den Ort kommen, wo Sie Ihr Mittagessen erhalten, inmitten einer natürlichen und erholsamen Umgebung. Wenn Sie sich an den lokalen Gerichten satt gegessen haben, wird Khamsone Sie auf eine Wanderung mitnehmen, bei der Sie den Vulkan Phu Sanark erkunden, von dem aus Sie eine ideale Position haben, um den Sonnenuntergang auf dem Plateau zu erleben.

Option 1: Übernachtung bei einer Gastfamilie – bis zu 4 Personen:
Ihr Tag endet in Khamsones Haus, das sich isoliert auf dem Gipfel des Plateaus findet und von seinen Kaffeeplantagen umgeben wird. Seine Familie wird Ihnen feinste laotische Gastfreundschaft präsentieren und Sie einladen, mit ihnen einige laotische Gerichte zu kochen.

Ihr Tag endet in einem dicht bewaldeten Tal mit Teichen und einem Strom, an dem Sie in einem Zelt übernachten können, geschützt durch ein Bambusdach in einen tropischen Garten.

Tag 2:
Sie werden mit einer leckeren Tasse Kaffee geweckt, bevor Sie die Aussicht von den Hochländern bei den Vulkanen PhuKhatok und PhuKhate genießen können. Nach dem Mittagessen kehren Sie zurück zum Jeep, um ein entferntes Bambusdorf der ethnischen Minderheiten der Laven und Souay zu besuchen. Sie werden das Gefühl haben, in die Vergangenheit gereist zu sein.
