After passing through the 7,5-kilometer cave aboard a long tail boat – one of the longest underworld crossings on earth – and admiring the stunning rock formations, a walk begins amid stunning landscapes and through the villages of Ban Natan and Tan Khankeo, lying at the foot of the limestone mountains. Following a trail, cross a shallow river on foot to finally reach the hidden Tam Hom cave, the secret spot where a picnic lunch will be served and one can relax with a view over the valley. Then the hike continues to the boat pier before passing back through the Konglor cave.

Full Day tour on the other side of Konglor cave

Today, you will pack your picnic lunch and enough water before departure from your hotel for a discovery of the area on the other side of the famous Konglor cave. After passing through the 7.5-kilometer cave aboard a long tail boat – one of the longest underworld crossings on earth – and admiring the stunning rock formations, you will start a walk amid stunning landscapes and through the villages of Ban Natan and Tan Khankeo, lying at the foot of the limestone mountains. You will continue the hike about 30 minutes after Tan Kankeo village, crossing a shallow river by foot and getting a little bit adventurous as you climb some rocks to access the hidden Tam Hom cave, a secret spot fwhere you can enjoy your picnic lunch and relax with a view over the valley. Then make your way back the boat pier – via an easy walk or perched on a tok-tok (local tractor) if you prefer – before passing back through Konglor cave.

Pendant la traversée à bord d’un bateau à longue queue, vous pourrez observer les formidables formations rocheuses qui s’y trouvent. Une fois arrivé de l’autre côté, vous commencerez la randonnée à travers des paysages époustouflants et passerez par les villages de Ban Natan et de Tan Khankeo situés au pied des montagnes de calcaire. Vous continuerez de marcher pendant environ 30 minutes après le village de Khankeo puis traverserez une rivière peu profonde à pied et l’aventure se corsera un peu lorsqu’il faudra escalader quelques rochers pour accéder à la grotte cachée de Tom Hom. Dans cet endroit secret vous pourrez profiter pleinement de votre déjeuner pique-nique en vous reposant avec la vue sur la vallée. Vous rentrerez ensuite au quai, soit à pied en prenant un chemin facile, soit en tok-tok (un tracteur local) avant de retraverser la grotte de Konglor.
