This tour begins with travelers cycling from their hotel to Don Det to pick up kayaking equipment. After a short briefing, travelers spend time in the middle of the 4000 islands on the way to Don Exom. In Don Exom, travelers enjoy a walk through the rice paddies to Hue Etu waterfall where it is time to relax with some snacks before a short hike to the downstream beach where their kayaks await. The kayaking follows the natural flow of the river to Ban Hang Khone where their adventure is complete.

4000 Islands by Kayak and Hike
You will start your adventure by cycling from your hotel to Don Det. After arriving at the northern boat pier of Don Det Island, you will collect the equipment and gain some information on how to practice kayaking safely. After a short briefing, you will start paddling your kayak along with your local guide, amongst the 4,000 islands on the way to Don Exom. On arrival at the village you will go for a walk through the rice paddies to Hue Etu waterfall, before a short hike to the downstream beach where your kayak awaits you. Setting off again, your kayak will travel along by the current until you reach Ban Hang Khone which is where the kayaking adventure will end.

Duration: 4 to 5 hours

  • Possible in the morning or afternoon
  • From November to May (not possible in the rainy season because of the high water level)

L’aventure commencera à vélo au départ de votre hôtel en direction de Don Det.
A votre arrivée à l’embarcadère nord de l’île de Don Det, et après un petit briefing de sécurité sur la navigation en kayak, vous enfilerez votre gilet et commencerez à pagayer vers Don Exom en suivant votre guide local parmi les 4000 îles. Iniciará su aventura con un paseo en bicicleta desde su hotel hasta Don Det. Al llegar al embarcadero de la isla de Don Det, recogerá su equipo y asistirá a una sesión informativa sobre las normas de seguridad del kayak. Empezará entonces a remar por las 4000 islas hasta Don Exom con el guía local. Una vez en el pueblo, comenzará una caminata por los arrozales hasta la catarata de Hue Etu. Sie starten Ihr Abenteuer mit einer Radtour von Ihrem Hotel aus nach Don Det. Nach der Ankunft am nördlichen Boots-Pier auf der Insel Don Det stellen Sie Ihre Ausrüstung zusammen und erhalten Informationen darüber, wie man sicher Kajak fährt. Nach der kurzen Einführung beginnen Sie mit Ihrem lokalen Reiseleiter das Kajak durch die 4.000 Inseln auf den Weg nach Don Exom zu fahren. Bei Ankunft im Dorf machen Sie einen Spaziergang durch die Reisfelder zum Hue-Etu-Wasserfall, bevor es weiter mit einer kurzen Wanderung flussabwärts zum Strand geht, wo Ihr Kajak auf Sie wartet.
