This adventure begins upstream from the city center in Ban En, on of the most beautiful parts of the Nam Khan River. Upon arrival, there is a short technical briefing while travelers become acquainted with their kayaks. As they head down stream, the scenery is breathtaking at any time of the year, and in the rainy season (July-November) may even include a waterfall. Travelers will kayak up to the elegant, old-world style resort, where they will meet the elephant keepers-the mahouts-and gain unique insight into how these majestic animals are communicated with and cared for. This mildly active adventure ends with an exquisite lunch at the elegantly decorated Chateau Orientale restaurant.

Cancellation
Of confirmed bookings has to be done between 8 am and 6 pm via fax or email AND by telephone to our office in central Luang Prabang. The cancellation needs to be acknowledged by our staff. For Group bookings, cancellations between 25 and 20 days prior to the start date will be charged 50%. Between 19 and 15 days prior to the start date 75 % and if cancelled less than 15 days before check in 90 % of the total package price will be charged. No show, or cancellations on the tour date, will be charged 100 %.
For Individual Booking (FIT): bookings only, cancellations between 25 and 20 days prior to the start date will be charged 50 %. Between 14 and 7 days prior to the start date 75 % and if cancelled less then 7 days before check in 90 % of the total package price will be charged. No show, or cancellations on the tour date, will be charged 100 %.
Group Booking (GIT):
Bookings for more than 4 pax / 2 rooms are seen as group bookings. To confirm the reservation, 20 % of the payment has to be made 01 month (30 days) prior arrival. If the booking is reduced or cancelled later, the payment is non-refundable and standard cancellation fees will be charged.

The starting point of your kayaking and elephant adventure is Ban En, located on one of the most beautiful parts of the Nam Khan River. Upon arrival, you will receive a short technical briefing and become acquainted with your kayak. As your journey downstream starts, you will be met with breathtaking views of lush jungle landscapes, mountains, and maybe even a waterfall. You will kayak up to the riverbank in front of an elegant resort, where you will meet the elephant keepers-the mahouts-and gain unique insight from them into how these majestic animals are communicated with and cared for. This mildly active adventure ends with an exquisite lunch served at the old-world style Chateau Orientale restaurant. Afterwards, the transfer will take you back to your hotel in Luang Prabang town.
