The resort is a training center that provides internship opportunities to young disadvantaged people from Buddhism for Social Development Action Organization (BSDA).

Hanchey Bamboo Resort is the Ecolodge and wellness resort which is featured ten air-conditioned rooms in bungalow style. The bungalows were built from clay and bamboo, making this building property look even more unique and beautiful. The resort is set in a lush tropical garden surrounded by beautiful greenery with an overview of the Mekong River. Hanchey Bamboo Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant, a poolside bar, a meeting hall, and a magnificent building, a Yoga venue called Shala Yoga which guests can use to practice and do yoga during staying in this resort. Guests can also use the bike to discover the village along the Mekong River riverside. The a la carte breakfast with a selection of Khmer and Western Cuisine is served for guests during staying at this resort. All dishes are used local ingredients such as meat and vegetable, which come from the farmer who grows and works in that area.
