Go Cong House is a lovely family-run homestay in Go Cong Tay District, Tien Giang Province. The homestay opened in 2022 with two unique rooms.

Coming to Go Cong House, visitors can discover and immerse themselves in the daily life of residents of the Mekong Delta region – the place known as the southern granary, the land of good and sweet fruit trees and hospitable locals.

Mr Daniel – a French-speaking guide and the homestay owner, has many years of experience serving foreign tourists. He and his family will give you a unique opportunity to experience life with a local family and learn more about their culture. In addition, you will enjoy excellent home cooking served in a cozy family dining room. This is, without a doubt, an unforgettable experience with a local family.

Pros

• Rooms are spacious with beautiful garden views.
• The home is surrounded by a network of concrete tracks, making it very easy to bicycle and walk around to chat with locals.
• The hosts (Daniel’s younger sister-in-law and younger brother) are friendly and always stay at home to take care of guests.
• The home-cooked food is fresh & tasty.
• It can be combined with the tour Can Gio or tour Ben Tre to have many activities for clients.

Cons

• This is a remote and rural area => need our own transportation to get there.
• Only the cars with 4-16 seats can be in the door; for 29-seat cars or more, guests have to walk about 500 meters.
• Except for Mr Mươi Hai (called Daniel), other members of the family can not speak English or French.
• Only two rooms => are suitable for FIT/ family guests only.

Important remarks

Ms. Hoang Oanh has just discussed with the host of Go Cong House – Mr. Mười Hai & finalized the capacity of the house as below :

• If Easia send the booking with two clients, need 1 room only = > automatically charter the house, the homestay won’t receive more booking from other travelers, and there is no supplement for charter
• If Easia wants to send two different bookings ( each booking 1 room ) on the same day, the homestay can receive two bookings from Easia. It depends on Easia.
