Day by day description

Day 1: Mine Thauk – Loikhaw – Sin Mee – Nan Nwe
Your adventure will start in Mine Thauk, on the eastern shore of the lake. You will meet with your trekking guide to start your full day hike exploring the mountains surrounding the lake. The first leg of the itinerary will be the most difficult one as you will depart for a two-hour hike uphill over relatively steep terrain to Khone Sone Village. After a short rest, you will continue with a flat, one-hour walk to Loi Khaw, a typical Pa-O village, then continue across the hills to Sin Mee, another Pa-O village where you will enjoy your picnic lunch. Sin Mee is nestled high in the mountains and you here can already get a glimpse of Inle Lake in the horizon. This afternoon, the landscape will change to one with less dense vegetation. You will cross avocado plantations – among others – and climb steep paths up the hills until you reach the edge of the mountains from where you can enjoy panoramic views on Inle Lake and the forested valley. Follow the path to Nan New Village where you will settle in for the night in the Inle Boutique House. Take a well-deserved rest and enjoy the gorgeous views in the soft light of the afternoon on top of the mountain, before enjoying dinner in the intimacy of your private house for the night. After dinner, watch the stars from the deck of the house and enjoy the complete quiet of the surroundings.
