Itinerary

Discover the beauty of Vietnam – 11 Days & 10 Nights

You will be greeted and driven to your hotel for check-in. In the evening you will travel to the A O show. “A O” is the name given to a new kind of art performance, commonly acknowledged as “new circus” across the globe. During 60 magical minutes, you will be gradually introduced to many different forms of emotion.

In the morning, you will set off to visit the historical sites of the city: the old Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Dong KhoiStreet, Chinatown (Cholon).Depending on your interests, you can choose to visit the War Remnants Museum or the FITO Museum. At the end of your visit, you will have some free time to stroll around and explore the city.

In the morning, you will travel to Ben Tre and start cruising towards the An Hoa River. Enjoy your fresh welcome drink while the ship brings you your first glimpse of the Mekong Delta. Upon arriving at Phong Nam, you will cycle around the village, visiting a local house to try their refreshing fruit and a local rice noodle factory which produces Hu Tieu noodles, one of the most popular dishes in the region. Continue your journey through the canals by sampan before lunch. Following the tour, you will have opportunities to meet local families and taste local fruit or Mekong Delta specialties as crispy rice paper.

Return to the ship and continue towards the Mo Cay canals to visit a coconut workshop before sailing on to the Vung Liem Canal, where the ship will dock for the first night. Then you will be treated to a cooking demonstration followed by dinner on board.

After breakfast, you will visit a traditional brick factory where craftspeople still make the bricks by hand. Then, mount your bike and start cycling around the village, heading to the town of Vung Liem to visit the holy Cao Dai Temple. Return to the cruise and continue on to another local village named Cai Nhum village, where you will have a great opportunity to observe and interact with local people as they go about their daily business. Dinner will be served on board, and then relax on the sundeck and enjoy your second night on the cruise as the sun goes down.

Setting off early in the morning after breakfast, you will hop on to a smaller boat to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market and experience it up close. Try your hand at bargaining and buy yourself some fruits or drinks from the countless ship shops.

Then, head towards Can Tho, where your driver will wait for your transfer to the airport and your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be transferred to your hotel.

In the morning, you will begin your full day discovery of the capital with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Later on, you will visit the Ethnology Museum, it is both a research center and a public museum featuring the 54 ethnic groups found across Vietnam.In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu in Vietnamese). Then, continue your way to the Old Quarter and the surroundings of the Sword Lake.In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional water puppet show, an art form which was invented a thousand years ago by the farmers of the Red River Delta area and then elevated to royal entertainment under the Ly and Tran dynasties.

Early in the morning, you will travel to Ninh Binh province. En route, you will pay a visit to the famous Tonkin Cathedral, Phat Diem, also known as the “stone cathedral” because of its marble base.

In the afternoon, you will spend time discovering Bich Dong Pagoda, which is one of the oldest pagodas in Ninh Binh. Then, you will go to Thung Nham, well known for its rich and preserved ecosystem, including the Bird Garden. If you wish, you can take a boat trip to the Buddha cave, passing through rice fields and aquatic landscapes of reeds and giant limestone peaks. It is best to visit this place in the late afternoon as it is the time of day when the storks make their daily return to their nest. At the end of the visit, you will head back to your hotel.

Early in the morning, you will head to Hoa Lu to visit the temples of king Dinh and King Le. Then you will reach Gia Hung village for lunch with the locals before taking a pleasant bicycle ride on the dam levee along Boi River, admiring the peaceful countryside and meeting with the locals. Upon arrival at the Van Long Nature Reserve, you will step onto a small row-boat for a 1h 30 min journey through rice fields, rocky peaks and luxuriant vegetation. You will then return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at will. Distance and duration of the bike ride: 8 kilometers – 45 minutes to 1 hour

In the morning, you will travel to Halong and arrive around noon. There, you will embark on a cruise through the must-see Halong Bay. This world-famous bay is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam, with its giant rock islets covered in luxuriant vegetation overlooking the waters. Halong Bay includes some 1,900 islands and islets of rocky peaks, often uninhabited and unvisited. This scene creates a spectacular marine landscape, which earned it UNESCO World Heritage status in 1994. You will be served lunch and dinner abroad with excellent,freshly caught seafood from the bay. At the end of the day, you will have the chance to enjoy a night fishing session on the boat.

Early in the morning, you will welcome the sunrise from the deck of the boat and then spend the day exploring the famous Halong Bay. The bay offers endless possibilities for pictures with its hundreds of astonishing, karstic peaks. You will enjoy a special moment during the sunset on the Halong bay before having dinner on the boat.

Early in the morning and depending on the season, you will wake up to enjoy sunrise over the aquamarine waters of the bay. Then, the cruise will tour around the bay until you disembark at the end of the morning. After that, you will then return to Hanoi’s airport for your international flight.
