Location : Luang Prabang, Laos
After a short drive to the boat pier, travelers have the opportunity to take a 15 – minutes leisurely boat trip down the Mekong River to the hunting lodge of the former royal family. Upon arrival at Pha Tad Ke Botanical gardens, they are introduced to the story of the initial idea of the gardens to their eventual completion. Following the Limestone walk with their guide, travelers can first discover the ethno-botanic garden and enjoy the landscapes in the Arboretum, the Palm and Bamboo Gardens before continuing to the viewpoint overlooking the rice fields. At the Mist house, they can learn more about the importance of biodiversity conservation and finish the excursion with lunch at Pha Tad Ke’s Cafe.
