Easia Travel is recruiting a Business Development Manager (M/F) to bolster our development and drive our growth in strategic markets.

As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for growing the business in the markets you are responsible for.

Geographical area:

  • UKI: United Kingdom, Ireland
  • Nordic markets: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

Your main missions will be the following:

  • Define the business development strategy, commercial objectives, implementation, and follow-up.
  • On a yearly basis, contribute to elaborating the Strategic Plans for each market listed above.
  • Lead Business Reviews of each market, including the Strategic Plans, 2 to 3 times a year.
  • Contribute to the marketing and production strategies of the company.
  • Contribute to the market intelligence studies of the company.
  • Reporting to the Sales Network Managers, the primary mission is to develop Easia Travel’s sales in each market assigned to this role.

The successful candidate will also be expected to travel to Easia Travel destinations on average once a year.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You are a man or a woman who speaks perfect English (written and oral).
  • You have experience in international tourism and know the UK or Nordic markets, their expectations, their stakeholders, and their different distribution networks.
  • You have at least five years of experience in the travel industry working for either a tour operator, travel agency, or DMC.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with the tourism sector in Southeast Asia, specifically Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Thailand.
  • You have excellent sales skills: you know how to approach and convince prospects.
  • You can synthesize and analyze data to establish a relevant strategy: you are a keen strategic thinker.
  • You have a higher education degree in tourism and sales (minimum three years of higher education or equivalent)
  • You can work in a multicultural environment, be interested in other’s cultures, and adapt.
  • You master Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other standard software.

WHAT WE OFFER
