The tour follows a 15-kilometer trail from a peaceful local village to a rural town with colorful houses and gardens.
This trip allows participants to visit some hidden temples, a part of the Roulos group, mostly forgotten by the tourist crowd. The journey ends with a climb to the top of one of the region’s most ancient and long-standing temples: Bakong Temple, the first sandstone temple-mountain constructed by some of the very first rulers of the great Khmer empire.

  • Detailed timing: Departure- early morning from hotel, in order to have enough time to reach the final destination
  • During the tour, call the restaurant or the person in charge of the picnic set up at least 1 hour before to confirm the arrival time – it’s important to have a good and warm meal during lunch or dinner
  • Should have lunch together with the Active clients, if requested.
  • Guide must stop and allow the travelers try some local snacks along the way; important to allow travelers experience local life and traditions of the country
  • Should check the climate conditions before the tour to avoid risks (for example, bring rain coats) and be careful during the tour not to put the lives of the clients in danger. At the end of the day, he needs to check all the bikes and help the mechanic to clean and fix them

In the morning, you’ll travel to the starting point: a peaceful village , and start your cycling journey.

You will ride your bicycle along gravel roads, passing through local villages characterized by colorful houses and lush gardens. You will see and learn about authentic Cambodian lifestyles and cultures on the outskirts of Siem Reap.

After a quick stop at the ancient lotus pond, you will start on a single track, passing through a little forest, and visiting small and nearly-forgotten temples, less-visited by the tourist crowds.

You will end the tour by arriving at Bakong Temple, the first sandstone temple mountain, constructed during the Pre-Angkorian era (802 AD) by some of the very first rulers of the great Khmer empire. Climb the temple, admire the incredible carvings, and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Dans la matinée, vous vous rassemblerez autour d’une ancienne pagode magnifique où vous commencerez l’excursion à vélo.
