Full day with Mr An: Kon Tum countryside

You will start your day with a local man who will introduce you to the history and architecture of the area. Mr An is a local artist who was born in Kon Tum and has been living there for a long time. He has a deep knowledge of the highlands and the tribal villages.

You will have an initial visit to the Wooden Cathedral and the Kon Tum museum, a place that has many precious artifacts of the tribes of Kon Tum. Above all, the collection of Lung Leng relics reveals the answer to the question, “what is the secret from Lung Leng in Kon Tum?” The collection is a valuable resource that will give you an overview of the prehistoric period of Kon Tum, about a former Central Highlands region in the past.

You can then go to visit the KontumKoNam and KontumKopang villages. Afterwards, you will explore the countryside, cross the Konkolor Suspension Bridge over the beautiful Dakbla River and visit the old Bahnar villages, another of the regions of the Montagnard people in Kon Tum. You will head to the Northeast of Kon Tum. On the way you can make a quick visit to the Senda tribes villages of Sodra and Todrah. Then, you will cross a beautiful suspension bridge to discover the way of life of the indigenous JoLong tribe on the ranges of Konknoh mountain.

Walking deep into the heart of the village along the hillside, you will go back in time, looking into the past to explore and experience the old way of living experienced by our ancestors in ancient times. This route will take you closer to an overview of the tribal way of life and some beautiful nature for you to admire as well.

In the late afternoon, you will head to the Northwest of Kontum to make a visit to Plei Klech village, here you will explore the countryside.
