You’ll meet a professor from the University of Fine Arts in Hanoi at his workshop for an introduction to the history of this traditional Art of Vietnam and the process of creating a lacquer painting. Then it’s time to try your hand yourself. With the professor’s guidance, step by step you’ll create a small lacquer painting or lacquerware (pendant, cup-holder, tray, box) – it’s down to you to be creative with your art.
