Visit the 1000-year-old Tea Forest

Your activity will start at the resort, where you will take a minivan to head to the tea forest.

You will then visit the impressive thousand year’s tree forest, with some trees that could be dated as much as 2000 years old. This forest is not officially protected, however the primary forest still remains untouched with its very own beautiful nature and abundance wildlife. The villagers use the resources of this forest since centuries, and nowadays its tea is still collected and used by the local people of various ethnic groups.

During your walk, you will enjoy fresh local fruits and then will have a picnic lunch in the forest while your guide will explain to you the specificities of the tea trees and show you the majestic and imposing old trees that shade the forest. 

After the visit, you will head back to the resort by minivan.

Visite de la forêt de thé millénaire

Votre activité commencera à l’hôtel, où vous prendrez un minibus pour vous rendre à la forêt de thé.

Vous visiterez ensuite l’impressionnante forêt d’arbres millénaires, dont certains pourraient avoir jusqu’à 2000 ans. Cette forêt n’est pas officiellement protégée, mais la forêt primaire reste intacte, avec sa nature magnifique et sa faune abondante. Les villageois utilisent les ressources de cette forêt depuis des siècles, et de nos jours le thé est toujours récolté et utilisé par les populations locales de différents groupes ethniques.

Au cours de votre promenade, vous pourrez profiter de fruits frais locaux, puis vous pique-niquerez dans la forêt pendant que votre guide vous expliquera les spécificités des théiers et vous indiquera les plus vieux arbres majestueux et imposants qui ombragent la forêt.

Après la visite, vous retournerez à l’hôtel en minibus.
