Tatai Riverfront Resort is a small eco-lodge hidden along the Tatai River in Koh Kong Province, deep within the Cardamom rainforest ecosystem. Unlike larger resorts in the area, the property is intentionally designed around simplicity, disconnection from technology, and immersion in nature. With only a handful of riverside cabins built directly above the water, the experience feels more like staying in a private wilderness retreat than a conventional hotel.

The resort features a limited number of wooden stilted cabins positioned along the riverbank, each offering uninterrupted views of the Tatai River and the surrounding Cardamom Mountains. Accommodation is intentionally simple yet comfortable, emphasizing natural materials, open-air living, and direct connection with the environment rather than luxury amenities. Private terraces, hammocks, and direct river access are key elements of the guest experience.

• The Resort has a volleyball court and offers hammocks and fishing rods
• Very personal touch service (House owner running the services and everything)

Cons

• A lot of mosquitoes during rainy season
• The resort has no wifi but there is a hotspot in the restaurant and phone reception in the open-air restaurant
