Ratanakiri

Ratanakiri is a northeastern province of Cambodia. Hilly and green, it is a part of the country known for the many ethnic minorities that consider it their home, as well as for having biodiversity and many ‘genies’ in the forests, according to the legends. Ratanakiri is also the homeland of many remarkable natural sites: volcanic lakes, waterfalls, and the vast Virachey National Park, which is located in the northern part of the province and is host to an astonishing range of biodiversity, such as wild elephants.
