Tiao Nithakhong Somsanith is an artist in every sense of the word. Born in Laos to a family of nobles, he has an immense background and decades of experience when it comes to Lao art and culture. He is indisputably one of the country’s foremost experts in the heritage and history of Northern Laos. After a warm welcome in his residence and a presentation on the life and culture in the Luang Prabang, a blessing ceremony will be performed through the Soukhouan Baci ritual. He will then introduce the guests to a variety of traditional arts, including flower arrangement, handicraft embroidery, stenciling and watercolor painting.
