This beautiful lunch excursion takes travels up the Mekong and then onto one of its tributaries, the Nam Ou. Travelers are treated to scenic views of steep karst cliffs and small villages that provide insight into rural life along the riverbanks of Laos. Upon reaching the caves, it will be time to climb the stairs to the entrance and gaze in awe at the thousands of Buddha statues inside. Finally, a delicious lunch will be cooked by a local family on the boat.
