The UXO Museum seeks to educate visitors about the unexploded ordnances (UXO) that remain in Laos, and the effort to eradicate them. The program focuses on five areas: community awareness, non-technical surveyal, technical surveyal, cluster munitions hazards, and roving tasks. The museum is housed in a large room and staff are happy to provide information about its activities and present-day role in Laotian society. The exhibition is made up of information boards, a 25-minute historical movie, and real examples of deactivated ordnances.
